QwikTime™

QwikTime™

QwikTime Mobile for CMS is an application for Blackberry which allows users to enter time while out of the office or traveling. Time is captured on the device and if connection is available, the user can submit the entry for final review and posting in CMS using either Basic or Enhanced Time Entry. When connection is unavailable, time entries are kept in cache on the Blackberry handheld and once connection is reestablished all entries are candidates for final upload to CMSOpenT. Personal Matter Aliases are uploaded and synchronized upon every authenticated connection.

QwikTime's main features are:

  • Ability to manually create time entries on your Blackberry device through a simple and easy to use interface.
  • Integration with your Blackberry calendar and phone. QwikTime gives you the power to convert calendar event and call data to time entries.
  • Seamless connection with your time entry databases that allows for upload of entries directly from your device. No need for intermediate steps or expensive middleware.
  • High flexibility by making it possible to store time entries on your device, either for later review, or when an immediate upload cannot succeed due to an unreliable connection.
  • Ability to modify or delete entries cached on your device, and review previously uploaded entries.
  • Ability to download and lookup matter aliases data that you can use to populate time entry fields.
  • Control over the method used to post your entries (Basic or Enhanced Time Entry).
  • Security. You are required to authenticate in order to use the application. All communications between the Blackberry device and your network environment are automatically encrypted by the Blackberry infrastructure.
